McGreg's is tha bombbbbbb!!!!!!!!! this place is the most convenient of bars. located right next to SDCCU stadium, people often come to McGregor's to watch sports & drink and that's why it's always so live in here!!!!!! I can't lie my first time here I wasn't too hot about this place, but I grew to love it.
The food here is FIRE. bar food always slaps and McGregor's goes above the bar to serve quality food. their happy hour deals are immaculate. all the food pictured below was only $20. nifty as hell
Parking here is tough lol the lot is for the mini plaza that McGregor's is apart of so it's always busy. but do not let that hinder you from pulling up here on a game day to catch a game. It's worth it 10/10 recommend. -

So I have been here several times, when I used to live close by. Since I was in the area I decided to stop in for Happy Hour. I went to the bar and sat there for about 3-5 mins withou6 being greeted. There were two bartenders on a Monday, so it wasn't busy. They were also both behind the bar when I sat down. One bartender was helping another guest, but the other was just having casual convo with what seemed to be regulars. I know I stick out like a sore thumb in that place, but that's even more reason to be warm and friendly in my opinion.
But I ordered my food and drink and the food came out pretty quickly. It was hot and fresh. They have the best ranch and honey mustard!!!!!! The portion and price was great. The tenders have never disappointed, just the service.
Probably just order to go next time. -

You go to a musty sports bar to watch games and enjoy a beer. Instead what we got was a bar with poorly placed TV's and speakers blasting depressing live music during an NBA playoffs game, an NFL draft, and a Padres game. No one could get in the spirit.
I have no clue how the food and drinks would have turned out because we left within 10 minutes of trying to adjust. Not a sports bar and not a restaurant either - I was confused and frustrated. -

Been coming here for 25 years. Love this place. The servers are great. The food selection is great too. Their happy hour specials are nice as well. Love the Juke box & pool tables as well.

I come here fairly often since I live near by and it's a good place to chill after work or to have a beer and play song pool. The food is pretty average honestly (in taste) and a little overpriced but I guess I keep coming back for a reason! Trivia nights on Thursday are pretty fun and game nights can get packed but there's good energy. Staff is overall okay- they're friendly but not very attentive and tend to forget things often. Could use some improvement but nonetheless it's a nice spot to hangout.
